Why Complete A Functional Medicine Detox

This was one of the biggest missing puzzle pieces on my journey to getting well! It’s now an essential step on the roadmap I take everyone through when they’re trying to achieve optimal health, get over pretty much any symptom, and make positive strides fast!

One of the most important concepts to grasp as you’re getting started is the importance of lessening the total toxic load on your body, both internally and externally.


Our world is insanely toxic. We’re surrounded by toxins everywhere we look. In the food we eat, water we drink, air we breathe, cleaning products, personal care products, makeup, furniture, paint, you name it. They’re all around us, poisoning our cells, and overtaxing our liver and detox organs.


Our poor livers weren't made to deal with the level of toxicity in our world.


When your liver can’t process and remove toxins as quickly as they are being put into the body, the liver swells, becomes unhappy, and pushes toxins back out into our bloodstream to then recirculate and latch onto our cells.

When your liver is overworked, you have symptoms.


Think of your body like a bucket. It’s slowly filling and filling and filling until one day, it overflows. When it overflows, dis-ease and countless symptoms occur.


The goal of this Functional Medicine Detox is to empty your bucket of years of built up toxins in a short period of time(7, 14, or 21-days), then, by living a detox lifestyle, you can keep your rain barrel from filling up again!


I’ve supported sooo many of my clients through this detox, with incredible, life-changing results.

When you’re looking to eliminate root causes and lessen the total load on your body, detoxing is the first step to preparing your body for deeper levels of healing. And my highest recommendation is to complete a 21 day detox to get started!


If you plan on diving into parasite cleansing, you’ll always want to complete a detox FIRST!

What does the detox actually look like?

You can choose to do a 7, 14, or 21 day detox. The longer you detox, the more benefits you will experience.


I always recommend if it’s your first time, or the first in a while, complete the 21-day detox.


This isn’t a juice fast. This isn’t just taking some pills. This is a full body reset that includes:

  • Fasting
  • A healthy meal plan
  • Liver and kidney support supplements
  • A multi-vitamin and mineral shake
  • A mindset shift
  • A complete reset of your eating habits

I do this detox 4 times a year.


It’s a staple in my yearly maintenance routine. The first time I did it, I don’t remember having ever felt so good! I now do a 21-day every quarter, and throw in a 7 day on occasion to help get rid of an extra layer of toxins.
